These Terms and Conditions govern your use of shopthreadtheorystudio.com and purchases from Thread Theory Studio. By accessing this website, submitting an order, or using our services, you agree to these Terms and the policies posted on our website.

PRODUCTS AND SERVICES
Thread Theory Studio provides embroidered apparel, accessories, personalized gifts, appliqué products, business and bulk embroidery, live embroidery services, and embroidery on certain customer-provided items.
We make reasonable efforts to display product descriptions, photographs, colors, sizes, prices, and availability accurately. However, colors may vary based on screen settings, fabric, thread, garment construction, and product availability.
Minor variations in embroidery placement, thread appearance, fabric texture, appliqué cutting, or handmade finishing are normal and are not considered defects.

ORDERS
Submitting an order does not guarantee acceptance. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order because of product availability, pricing errors, suspected fraud, inappropriate content, production limitations, or other reasonable circumstances.
If Thread Theory Studio cancels a paid order, the applicable amount will be refunded to the original payment method.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate contact, billing, shipping, sizing, and customization information.

CUSTOMIZATION
Customers must review all names, initials, dates, wording, capitalization, sizes, colors, design selections, and placement choices before submitting an order.
Thread Theory Studio is not responsible for errors produced exactly as entered, submitted, or approved by the customer.
When a digital proof is provided, production may not begin until the customer approves it. Approval confirms acceptance of the spelling, wording, layout, and general design shown. Changes requested after approval may result in additional charges and processing time.
Digital proofs are intended to represent the general design. Finished colors, dimensions, and placement may vary slightly.

ORDER CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS
Requests to cancel or change an order must be submitted within 12 hours of purchase by emailing threadtheorycustomstudio@gmail.com.
After the 12-hour period, materials may have been ordered or production may have started. Changes and cancellations are therefore not guaranteed.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS
All purchases are final sale. We do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, incorrect sizing selections, color preferences, or information entered incorrectly by the customer.
Customized and personalized products cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded once production begins.
If an item is incorrect, defective, or customized incorrectly because of an error made by Thread Theory Studio, the customer must contact us within 3 calendar days of delivery. The message must include the order number, a description of the issue, and clear photographs.
If we confirm that the issue resulted from our error, we will provide an appropriate resolution, which may include repair, replacement, store credit, or refund.

PROCESSING AND SHIPPING
Standard processing time is 7–14 business days before shipping. Processing time does not include weekends, holidays, or carrier transit time.
Large, bulk, specialty, or highly customized orders may require additional time. Rush service is not guaranteed unless approved before purchase.
Customers are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address. Thread Theory Studio is not responsible for carrier delays or delivery problems caused by incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer.

CUSTOMER-PROVIDED ITEMS
Embroidery permanently alters an item and involves machinery, needles, pressure, and stabilizing materials. Although reasonable care will be taken, customer-provided items are accepted at the customer’s risk.
Thread Theory Studio is not responsible for preexisting damage, hidden defects, manufacturer inconsistencies, or damage caused by an item being unsuitable for embroidery. Any replacement arrangement must be agreed upon before production begins.

CUSTOMER-SUBMITTED ARTWORK
Customers must own or have authorization to use any artwork, logo, photograph, trademark, wording, or other material submitted to Thread Theory Studio.
By submitting content, the customer represents that its use does not violate another person’s copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
Thread Theory Studio may refuse content that appears unlawful, infringing, hateful, discriminatory, threatening, or otherwise inappropriate.

DIGITIZING AND SETUP FEES
Digitizing, artwork preparation, and setup fees compensate Thread Theory Studio for preparing a design for production. These fees are nonrefundable once preparation work has begun.

PAYMENTS AND PRICING
Prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated. Applicable taxes, shipping charges, customization fees, and approved additional charges may be added during checkout.
Payment must be successfully completed before production begins unless otherwise agreed in writing.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless otherwise stated, the original photographs, designs, branding, graphics, written content, and other materials displayed on this website belong to Thread Theory Studio or their respective licensors.
Website content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, sold, or commercially used without permission.

PROHIBITED USE
You may not use this website or our services for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, harmful, or infringing purposes. You may not interfere with website operation or security, submit malicious code, or attempt to access information without authorization.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Our store is hosted by Shopify and may use third-party payment processors, applications, analytics services, and shipping carriers. Use of these services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Thread Theory Studio will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of this website, our services, or purchased products.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by applicable federal law and the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without limiting consumer protections that otherwise apply.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms periodically. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date and will apply prospectively.
