Custom Order Policy

CUSTOMIZATION DETAILS
Customers are responsible for submitting complete and accurate customization information. Please review all spelling, capitalization, initials, dates, sizes, colors, design selections, and placement choices before completing checkout.
Thread Theory Studio will produce the order using the information submitted or subsequently approved by the customer.

PROOFS AND APPROVALS
A digital proof may be provided when required for a particular product or design. Production may not begin until the customer approves the proof.
Proofs are intended to confirm wording, layout, and general design direction. Digital colors and proportions may vary slightly from the finished product.
Once a proof is approved, the customer accepts responsibility for the approved spelling, wording, layout, and design details. Changes requested after approval may require an additional fee and may extend processing time.

CUSTOMER-SUBMITTED ARTWORK
Customers must own or have permission to use any logo, artwork, trademark, photograph, or other material submitted to Thread Theory Studio.
By submitting content, the customer represents that its use does not violate another person’s intellectual-property or privacy rights. Thread Theory Studio may decline any design that appears unlawful, infringing, hateful, unsafe, or otherwise inappropriate.

DIGITIZING AND SETUP FEES
Embroidery digitizing, artwork preparation, and setup fees cover the labor required to prepare a design for production. These fees are nonrefundable once the preparation work has begun.

CUSTOMER-PROVIDED ITEMS
Embroidery involves needles, machinery, pressure, and permanent alteration. Although reasonable care will be taken, customer-provided garments and products are accepted at the customer’s risk.
Thread Theory Studio is not responsible for preexisting damage, hidden defects, manufacturer inconsistencies, or damage caused by an item being unsuitable for embroidery. Any specific replacement arrangement must be agreed upon before production begins.

DESIGN PLACEMENT
Placement may vary slightly due to garment size, seams, pockets, zippers, construction, and hooping limitations. These reasonable production variations are not considered defects.

CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS
Changes or cancellations must be requested within 12 hours of purchase. After that period, materials may have been ordered or production may have started, and the order may no longer be eligible for cancellation or modification.

PRODUCTION TIME
Standard processing is 7–14 business days. Large, bulk, complex, or specialty orders may require additional time.
